Directions
- Mix the minced beef with the breadcrumbs, chopped onion, parsley, Parmesan cheese & salt and pepper. When well mixed add the beaten egg and combine well.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and slowly fry the oil until golden brown on all sides and cooked through the centre.
- Add the DOLMIO® Bolognese Original sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 10-12 minutes until soft and al dente.
- Drain well. Serve the meatballs on top of the pasta, topped with flat parsley.
Alternative cooking suggestion Fry sliced beefsteak or pork tenderloin until browned and cooked through, add the sauce and simmer for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately on hot pasta with a handful of basil leaves.
Energy boost Serve the meatballs with crusty French bread and a beef tomato salad for plenty of extra carbohydrates and energy.

- 500g lean minced beef
- 2 slices thick white breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 15ml fresh chopped parsley

- 1 medium egg, beaten
- 3-4 tbsp olive oil
- 300g dried spaghetti
- Sprigs of flat parsley, to garnish
