Directions
- Fry the strips of red pepper and diced Italian sausage in the oil for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the DOLMIO® Express Spicy Italian sauce to the pan and heat gently until hot.
- Cook the pasta in boiling water for 10-12 minutes until soft and "al dente".
- Drain well and serve the spicy sausage sauce on the spaghetti, topped with basil leaves and with grated Parmesan cheese.
Alternative cooking suggestion For a vegetarian option, add the sauce to a pan of fried mixed vegetables, simmer together for a couple of minutes and serve over spaghetti or tagliatelle.
Know your sausage! Use salami or Spanish Chorizo sausage in this recipe, along with a few pitted black olives. |

- 1 red pepper, halved. de-seeded and cut into even strips
- 175g Italian spicy sausage, cut into dice
- 15ml olive oil
