Directions
- Mix together beef mince, Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons of the pasta sauce, chopped chives, egg, salt and mixed herbs.
- Roll into small balls, about golf ball size.
Put aside & leave in the fridge whilst cooking the pasta.
- Cook the pasta as per instructions
Refresh the pasta under cold running water - until the pasta is cold, drain all water off the pasta Toss through a small amount of olive oil (20-30ml), so the pasta will not stick together.
- Put the pasta into a microwave-safe bowl, cover with plastic, put into the microwave until the meatballs are ready.
- Heat oil in a frying pan to medium heat.
Fry the meatballs in the pan until cooked.
- Add jar of pasta sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- To re-heat pasta, heat in the microwave on high for 3-4 minutes.

Garnish with Parmesan cheese (optional).
Serve the pasta on the plate first with the meatballs and sauce on top. |

- 300g Beef Mince
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1 Fresh chive stalk, finely chopped
- 1 Egg
- 1cup Breadcrumbs
- 1tsp Salt
- 2tsp Mixed herbs
- 1pkt Dried spaghetti
- 30mls Olive oil (for the pasta)
- Oil for cooking meatballs
- Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
