Taste of Rome with spaghetti, a touch of cream and chilli

  1. Add the pasta to a large saucepan of salted, boiling water and cook for approximately 8-10 minutes until the pasta is ‘al dente’.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and add the chopped fresh chilli and black pepper.

  3. Add the jar of Dolmio Taste of Rome sauce and allow it to heat for a couple of minutes. Stir in the double cream and cook for another couple of minutes.

  4. When the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the frying pan. Stir into the sauce and serve with the grated parmesan.


1tbsp double cream

100g finely grated Parmesan cheese

10g fresh chilli

Freshly ground black pepper

250g linguine or spaghetti

4tbsp olive oil

Sea salt
